Starplayrx big mac patcher1/6/2024 ![]() I literally have to relink each video file manually every time it opens and it’s in the very latest 18 update and a specific mention that this exact issue has been fixed in the notes on the app store. You should really use StarPlayrX's BigMac Patcher which is designed for Mac Pros, unlike this patcher. Mac Pros work sometimes with the patcher, and sometimes they don't. I have downloaded Big Sur and created a patched USB drive in BigMac2, but i’m not sure what to do next. HOWEVER, there are no instructions for using the GUI. I’ve even tried ditching iMovie and using Resolve, but there are ongoing issues keeping video file folders linked between opens, so I can’t have a nice portable library like I can with iMovie. Big Mac by StarPlayrX is another patcher worth considering if you have a Mac Pro. Please don’t direct me to a long thread with even more crap and no download link. This patcher hopes to allow any user of any knowledge to patch their Mac, while still giving you freedom on how you want to use your Mac. I tried Patched Sur, which worked fine on my 2012 Mac Mini, but recommended this apparent vapourware as the final stage when I tried it on my Mac Pro. Patched Sur is a UI patcher for macOS Big Sur, designed to make it easy to run macOS 11 on unsupported Macs. Is a sea of programmer-oriented crap with no useful links anywhere.
